So this is kind of a write-off then eh?

I guess I'm next logging back in when the Z-keys get released.

Life's too short to play laggy games.

Getting Code 007's just sitting in the Alliance Battle staging area, not to mention the freezing and lag spikes during the game.

I <3 Arena weekends. /sarcasm

Smash a rock through their window with the note:

"If this rock was in the game, it would have disconnected from the server mid-air."

Okay, so yeah. Today I'm having lag trouble. Disconnected right as my RA team was switching matches, so I was booted out. Bullshit.

Yea, the 5-10 second lagspikes make it really difficult to play anything.

When your monk err's out in the 10th match, you know it sucks.

couldnt even open my bags or change heroes in towns....really really bad lag (try playing a mesmer---lag is so bad I cant interupt anything).
gave up for the day....instead took inventory of which elites my characters are missing so when things get back to 'normal' I have an idea of what can get done..

thanks for the laggggg weekend...will go shopping now.

Im about 10-20 minutes away as well and I end up dying after 2 minutes of farming thanks to this lag.
My normal ping is 46 but its 200 today with spikes over 3k.

I think its anets answer to balance the monk overload in RA.

I just wonder in general if the load going through the ISPs goes up on weekends? Ive definitely noticed a pattern with my Cox connection when I've monitored it here in AZ.
I've started hanging out in Asian areas to minimize issues, so far so good for me but Im only in PvE atm.

Off topic - It would be nice to have an event NOT on a weekend - you know, just for a change for those who have work and families on the weekend...

I usually have ~400 ping, it's been jumping back and forth like crazy. Was farming Gates of Kryta and suddenly experienced a 7k ping right in the middle. Happened in AB too, both sides were complaining of screen freezes and rubberbanding. Also got hit by a massive 50k ping spike at the same time as my guildie =\

i think anet have too few servers and everytime the population increases over certain point, usually during an event, they get overloaded.

strange that while the overall population is getting less the lag seems to be increasing. guess they switched to the budget servers

So ANet should stop having AB weekends till they have enough servers?
